First Land Rover ride and drive in Mombasa

Land Rover Kenya hosted the first ever Ride and Drive Experience in the Kenyan coast, at Mombasa’s most esteemed estate, Vipingo Ridge from 27th to 29th September 2019.

The surrounding mangrove forest proved to be the perfect place for Land Rover where customers tested the true capability of the state-of-the-art Land Rovers ranging from Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Velar, New Range Rover Evoque, Discovery and Discovery Sport where they learned new skills and tackled some of the most challenging terrain.

The terrain ranging from a bumpy uphill, mud, sand, gravel and grass complemented the legendary Land Rover capability to its fullest. The off-road course was a perfect fit for drivers looking for an exhilarating challenge with a dash of excitement.

“I didn’t think we’d make it up the hills with the New Range Rover Evoque,” one client mentioned, “but we did.” The experience team was on hand to assist the drivers make more of the vehicles.

The experience gave an opportunity for Land Rover customers to learn more about their vehicle’s capabilities and increased enthusiasm for those who would like to own the brands soon.

“What a driving experience,” Kevin Munala, one of the attendees mentioned. “I think my key take away was the customer service. The team was so observant and that goes a long way. I asked all sorts of questions one would think silly, but they actually responded with a lot of enthusiasm.”

The event which was a partnership with Vipingo Ridge left customer and other attendees requesting for more. “We are delighted to partner with Inchcape Kenya Limited for such an exciting driving experience, Edward Njagi, Managing Director, Vipingo Ridge said. “Our members have greatly enjoyed the unique experience and we look forward to more in the near future”.
